The Central Heating plant in the town Helsinge had the system installed in the autumn of 1997 as the first plant in Denmark. (This plant’s account year is = normal calendar year)
The total pipe loss before the system was install was calculated over a average of 3 years to a total of 10.486 MWh.
After the system was install the total pipe loss was calculated over a average of 4 years to a total of8.823 MWh.
The average savings pr./year was 1663MWh. = 10.486 MWh. - 8.823 MWh. at a prd. cost of 290DKR/Mwh.
When the production cost pr./MWh is 290 Dk.kr. then the savings was:
482.270 kr./pr.år = 1663 x 290 kr.
